KP CM Launches Scholarships for Higher Education
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur has launched a new scholarship program under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Foundation to support students pursuing higher education. The initiative aims to help talented and financially struggling students continue their studies without financial burden.
A special ceremony was held at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat in Peshawar, attended by important officials, including Provincial Minister for Higher Education Meena Khan Afridi, Secretary for Higher Education Kamran Ahmad Afridi, and Managing Director of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Foundation Zarif-ul-Maani.

Additional Scholarships for Backward Areas
Chief Minister Gandapur also announced special scholarships for students from backward districts. He revealed that the provincial government will add Rs 100 million as seed money for these scholarships, increasing the total scholarship fund from Rs 300 million to Rs 400 million. This additional amount will be exclusively for students from underprivileged areas.

The Chief Minister’s Education Endowment Fund has been doubled from Rs 1.2 billion to Rs 2.4 billion.
